Trinidad is the ideal vacation destination within the county. It is nestled on seaside cliffs that give majestic views of the Pacific Ocean. It also has a casino, the Cher Ae Heights Casino which has a truly top-notch restaurant called The Sunset. Also of major importance is Patrick's Point State Park - an extremely popular State Park with numerous trails, overlooks and the surprisingly warm and rocky Agate Beach. On the road between Trinidad and PPSP there are a multitude of hotels, motels, campgrounds and other vacation getaways. Also of importance on this route is the Larrupin- widely considered on of the best restaurant on the North Coast for it's quaint interior and superb cuisine.
